(Gray News) – The cause of death for Christy Knowings was reportedly revealed about a month after her death.

Knowings, who starred on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy show “All That,” died last month at the age of 46.
On Wednesday, People reported that the 46-year-old died from cardiac arrest.
According to the outlet, Knowings’ death certificate listed acute hypoxic respiratory failure and status asthmaticus as conditions leading to her death, with asthma as an underlying cause.
TMZ first reported Knowings’ death before her manager confirmed the news in a statement to Variety.

TMZ reported at that time that Knowings suffered an asthma attack that left her with brain damage.
The “All That” alum was said to have been hospitalized in Los Angeles a few days before she was taken off life support.
Knowings joined “All That” in 1997 and spent three seasons on the show. IMDb reports her final reported acting role was three appearances on “Sesame Street” from 2008 to 2011.
