On Tuesday, Savana King pleaded not guilty in Sedgwick County court to the charges of unlawful sexual relations, criminal sodomy, and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child between 14 and 16 years old.

Those charges stemmed from a report from a woman who said she was sexually assaulted as a minor by her former softball coach between 2021 and 2024. According to an affidavit, she told investigators that the abuse started when she was 14 years old.

King was arrested in February 2025.
