TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) —A search of Tempe Town Lake on Monday yielded no results after reports of a person going underwater near the Rural Road bridge.

At about 1 a.m., first responders were called to the lake on reports of a person who went underwater according to the Tempe Police Department.
Tempe Fire Medical Rescue divers thoroughly searched the area throughout the morning, but no one was found.
Officials said there are no reports of a missing person and no further search efforts are planned.
