CASA GRANDE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man accused of murdering another man in a bar parking lot in Casa Grande has been arrested, according to officials.

Tristen Lee Alvarez, 21, is accused of shooting and killing Jacob Encinas, 37, on Aug. 15 at Airport Tavern near Interstate 10 and Viola Street, according to Casa Grande police.
Officers responded to the bar at 1:45 a.m. and found Encinas with one gunshot wound to the torso. Encinas was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Alvarez, whom police identified as the suspect, left the scene before officers arrived.
Detectives learned Alvarez and Encinas were allegedly in a verbal argument in the parking lot before the shooting.
During a search for him, police said Alvarez should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

On Sept. 3, U.S. Marshals helped take Alvarez into custody in Casa Grande, according to police.
Alvarez is facing first-degree murder and weapons charges, according to police.
