The TPD says 44-year-old Patricia Lynn Lyons was living with her family in Savannah, Tennessee, before traveling to Tucson in January 2009.

In March of that year, police say she told family members she planned to return to Tennessee by bus, but never made it.

Lyons was officially reported missing in May 2009 and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police detectives believe Lyons was likely the victim of foul play and say the case is currently being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators determined Lyons was last known to be in the company of an acquaintance.
