Suspects taken into custody after shelter-in-place in Cochise County

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Two people were taken into custody after a warrant was served at a Hereford home on Tuesday, May 19.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office said SWAT went to the home near South Lariat Road and East Corral Drive for two people with active felony warrants.

The CCSO said the suspect barricaded themselves in the home, which led to a shelter-in-place order.

SWAT was able to get the suspects to give up, and there were no reported injuries.
