PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man accused in a deadly Ahwatukee apartment shooting that led to people getting rescued is back in the Valley after being caught thousands of miles away.

Keith Farrow, 51, was extradited from Worcester County Jail in Boylston, Massachusetts, about 50 miles west of Boston, and arrived in Phoenix Thursday morning. He was then booked into jail on a charge of second-degree murder.
Investigators say Farrow shot David Martin, 37, to death at the Allegro Apartments at 44th Street and Chandler Boulevard around 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 12, 2025. Martin’s body was found on a second-story balcony.
Several other people were still inside the apartment, including children, and officers used a ladder to rescue them.

Detectives said Farrow moved out of state shortly after the shooting.
With the help of Massachusetts State Police and ATF agents, police found Farrow in Warren, about 70 miles west of Boston, and took him into custody on Feb. 17.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
