TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – 13 News has obtained the autopsy and toxicology reports for the woman shot and killed at a Tucson apartment complex near Golf Links and Pantano earlier this year.

The Tucson Police Department said 38-year-old Aimee Leigh Kimble was shot during an incident at the Lakeside Casitas Apartments, located at 8250 East Golf Links Road, on Monday, June 29.
The TPD said 33-year-old William Michael Pritchard admitted to shooting Kimble, but claimed it was self-defense. He claimed she attacked him after he refused to pay for sex.
According to the autopsy report, Kimble died from a gunshot wound to her torso. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.
She also had sharp force injuries to her face and neck (at least four cuts), as well as blunt force injuries to her face, neck, torso, and extremities. The report also noted decomposition and obesity (she was 5-foot-6 and 210 pounds).
According to the toxicology report, Kimble had meth, cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol in her system when she died.
Pritchard was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder, and his bond was set at $1 million. He was not in custody as of Tuesday, Aug. 18.
During Pritchard’s initial court appearance, the state claimed he changed his story a few times and allegedly made plans to move Kimble’s body.
According to the interim complaint, Pritchard first claimed Kimble was a burglar, but later admitted he had asked her to come over after meeting her online.
Pritchard claimed Kimble wanted money for sex, but that he didn’t want to have sex with her.

He said she then got mad, attacked him, and claimed people would come over to hurt and kill him.
Pritchard said he tried to fight back, but said he has a medical condition “in which he loses strength quickly if he is over-exerted.”
One of Pritchard’s family members said he has Asperger’s syndrome and struggles with common sense. She said he is very academically intelligent, but he forgets to shower and feed himself.
Investigators said they found a black tarp in Pritchard’s vehicle and said he asked a family member to come over and help to clean up a lot of blood. During his court appearance, the state claimed Pritchard had made arrangements to dispose of the body
According to checks done by 13 News, Pritchard has no criminal record in Pima County and has never been in the state prison system. Kimble was convicted of theft in Pima County in 2014, but saw several charges of trafficking in stolen property dismissed.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with any information regarding this homicide is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME to remain anonymous.
