Tucson Police searching for missing vulnerable adult

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 69-year-old ‘vulnerable’ man.

Armando Mesa Rivas walked away from his home in the 6600 block of East Golf Links around 4:00am on Saturday, May 16th.

Authorities believe he may have traveled by bus after initially leaving on foot. In a similar incident in November of 2025, Rivas was found at a nearby bus stop.

Rivas is a Hispanic male, approximately 5′7″, 168 pounds, with brown eyes, and salt and pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt, light gray sweatpants, and brown shoes.

Anyone with information on the possible whereabouts of Mr. Rivas is asked to call 911 immediately.
