BUCKEYE, AZ (AZFamily) — A routine traffic stop in Buckeye on Tuesday ended with officers seizing more than 200 pounds of methamphetamine.

Buckeye police pulled over a driver for a traffic violation on Perryville Road near Interstate 10.
During the stop, officers brought in a K9 named Echo to sniff the vehicle. After the dog signaled that drugs were inside, officers searched the car and found 210 pounds of methamphetamine packed into duffel bags.
Because of the massive amount of drugs found, Buckeye police are now working with federal investigators.
