TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Eric Gonzales sat down with Devyn Shea this afternoon to discuss his campaign platform for Willcox City Council.

Gonzales wants his candidacy to be known for its integrity.
“There’s a lot of trust put into us as local government. We have to do the right thing even when nobody’s looking”.
Gonzales says taking pride in Willcox through serving in local government is in his blood, as his grandfather Manuel “Manny” Gonzales Sr. served on the Wilcox city council for 17 years.
Water is a cornerstone of Gonzalez’s campaign, with intent to preserve water rights and delve deeper into rainfall collection for reuse.
Gonzales envisions a Willcox that embraces development that attracts young families like his own to the area, and says he leads by example through keeping his rental units affordable and addressing the housing need head on.

“Taking the time to reinvest in the community and rebuild properties is a focus of mine”.
