Tucson Now: Jackie Anderson’s plan for District 19

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Jackie Anderson sat down with Devyn Shea this afternoon to discuss her campaign platform as she runs to represent District 19 in the Arizona House.

“Human dignity is our number one focus”, Anderson says, saying she approaches the state house position with a “what level of harm is this going to cause to our Arizonan people” mindset.

The clean elections candidate says her campaign also centers on water “because we can’t live without it”, including additional data collecting and an increased budget for the water board.

Recounting her 32 years in Southern Arizona, including her 19 years at an Arizona Critical Access Hospital, she recognizes the strides we have made in healthcare, specifically for the uninsured, and the work still to do through legislature and grants to allow further healthcare access for all regardless of insurance status.

Anderson also speaks about stricter school voucher checks and balances, as well as affordability overall.
