Crews received reports of a person stranded on a small section of the wash bank that was surrounded by fast-moving flood water.
The TFD said there was a 10-foot drop from the street to the wash bank.
Crews were positioned downstream, and another crew used a ground ladder to rescue the individual with a life vest and rescue ring.

The TFD said the person was rescued without injury.
