FLAGSTAFF, AZ (AZFamily) — The suspect in a shooting that left a man dead outside a Flagstaff apartment complex has been booked into jail, police announced Thursday.

He was identified as Erick Gustavo Pineda, 42, and is facing a charge of first-degree murder.
The shooting happened on Marketplace Drive, north of Historic Route 66 and east of Mall Way, on Wednesday at about 9:30 a.m.
Police said Pineda and Jose Adrian Ontiveros, 39, got into a fight right before Pineda opened fire.
Ontiveros died at the scene. Pineda was hospitalized with serious injuries before being arrested.

Investigators did not say what the fight was about.
