Interstate 10 back open following brush fire near Colossal Cave Road

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A brush fire forced the closure of Interstate 10 near Colossal Cave Road for more than two hours on Thursday, July 9.

Around 4:40 p.m., ADOT said I-10 was closed in both directions due to the fire.

The eastbound lanes were back open by 5 p.m., and one of the westbound lanes reopened around 7 p.m., and the other was reopened about an hour later.
