The event runs through Aug.1, and every jar donated helps fight hunger and supports local families experiencing food insecurity throughout Tucson and Pima County.
ICS said it hopes to collect thousands of jars before the drive concludes.
“Community food drives like the Peanut Butter Party play an essential role in helping to fight food insecurity in Pima County,” said ICE CEO Tom McKinney. “With more individuals and families relying on ICS food banks than ever before, donations of nutritious staples like peanut butter allow us to serve more people while making the most of every charitable dollar.”
There are two locations where you can drop off the donations, but you can also order on Amazon and have the peanut butter shipped directly to ICE.
