PHOENIX (AZFamily) — All the way from Arizona, the Cardinals ended up making a pre-wedding play in New Jersey.

Arizona Cardinals President Michael Bidwill offered to give up a presidential suite at a New Jersey hotel to a bride after her plea to the team went viral.
Throwing out a Hail Mary
Bride-to-be Olivia Coppeletti is getting married Oct. 4 in New Jersey and had her heart set on spending the night before her wedding in a hotel’s presidential suite.
The only issue is that the room she wanted is typically reserved for visiting NFL teams coming to play the New York Giants or Jets, and with the Arizona Cardinals scheduled to face the Giants on her wedding day.
That meant the room was reserved for the team’s head coach. At least that’s what she thought.
Olivia wrote an email addressed to Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur, basically tossing up a Hail Mary from the East Coast and hoping it landed in the desert.
“I realize there is approximately a 99.9% chance this email never reaches you, and an even smaller chance that if it does, you have any ability (or desire) to help me,” Coppeletti wrote. “But as a bride who has exhausted all conventional options, I have decided to take my chances.”
Then she made what she called “the most ridiculous request” the Cardinals might get all season: if the suite wasn’t going to be used on Oct. 4, could she please have a chance to book it?
“If the answer is no, I understand and will still be rooting for the Cardinals to beat the Giants,” she wrote, adding her fiancé had been saying, “Let’s go Trey McBride,” and even if she didn’t totally know who that was, she was ready to root for him, too.

An unlikely response becomes reality
Mark Dalton, the Cardinals’ senior vice president of media relations, later responded and passed her message along. That’s when Coppeletti learned the suite wasn’t reserved for the coach after all. It was reserved for the team’s owner.
“Hi Olivia, I’m Michael Bidwill with the Arizona Cardinals,” the owner said. “Your email, which I absolutely loved, made its way to me. I looked into it. The situation is a little complicated, the suite you requested wasn’t reserved for the coach of the Cardinals, but rather the owner of the Cardinals. The good news is that’s me and I’m happy to give it up to you and your bridesmaids to use during your wedding weekend. Congrats and enjoy your special day.”
Coppeletti later shared the full story on TikTok, including Bidwill’s video, and racked up over 2.5 million views in a day.
She got the suite, the Cardinals got a new fan, and Trey McBride picked up some extra cheers in New Jersey.
It sounds like everyone’s a winner.
