TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A woman was found dead in the wash south of Silverlake Road on June 18.

The Tucson Police Department said crews responded to the scene shortly after 6:00 a.m.
The TPD said the investigation is still ongoing, and they are waiting for the next of kin to provide more information.
The report comes the day after a strong storm rolled through Tucson on June 17, causing a massive swift-water rescue in which nine people were swept away near Interstate 19 and Ajo Way.
