Daniel Crouse, 33, and Stephanie Bandin, 38, were indicted June 3, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Thursday.

Prosecutors say Crouse stole power tools from eight Lowe’s stores, 17 Home Depot stores and a Shopper Supply store between March and May. He is also accused of stealing a luxury purse from a Dillard’s department store in Chandler.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said the stolen goods totaled more than $30,000 in losses for the businesses.

Chandler Police arrested Crouse and Bandin on May 27. Prosecutors say Bandin used her vehicle to block officers from reaching Crouse before they were both taken into custody.

Investigators later used surveillance footage to link Bandin to one of the Home Depot thefts. It is unclear if she aided in any of the other thefts.
