PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Investigators are searching for a Phoenix woman in connection with the murder of her girlfriend’s mother in Maryland late last month.

Just after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, officers were called to check a person’s welfare at an apartment complex in Silver Spring, Maryland. Once officers arrived, they found 67-year-old Hilde Henderson dead at the scene.
Henderson’s death was ruled a homicide, according to Maryland law enforcement officials.
Authorities identified Henderson’s daughter, 29-year-old Vanessa Tjongarero-Henderson, of Maryland, and her girlfriend, 36-year-old Samantha Raebel, of Phoenix, as suspects in the case.
Tjongarero-Henderson and Raebel are being charged with first-degree murder, but they have not yet been located.
