Tucson Police respond to false reports about active shooter

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department said online rumors about an active shooter near Broadway and Craycroft on Tuesday, June 2, were untrue.

The TPD said there was no shooting and the rumors are wrong.

The TPD said officers went to a business in the area following a suspicious phone call.

The officers confirmed the business was safe, and the investigation is ongoing.
