SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — A 16-year-old boy has died after he was found with serious injuries in San Tan Valley late Thursday.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to Murray Grey Drive near Gary Road, south of Empire Boulevard, at about 11:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found the boy. He was flown to a Phoenix-area hospital, where he later died.
Throughout the night, detectives investigated and questioned three boys, deputies said. The boys were later released as the investigation continues, deputies said.
