LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Prosecutors have rested their case on Wednesday as the Tupac murder trial entered its eighth day in Las Vegas.

So far, jurors have heard from 24 witness and several hours of audio clips. On Wednesday, the state brought in their 25th witness, who briefly took the stand.
While prosecutors rested their case, the defense told the judge their four witnesses would be ready Thursday. Closing arguments are then slated for Monday.

1:08 p.m.
Two items are addressed outside the presence of the jury about two objections the defense has against two video/clips that the jury will hear on Wednesday.
1:11 p.m.
Jury returns and the next witness is called.
Adam Stoehr, electronic evidence specialist with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.
He is there to described how he clipped the snippets that are slated to be played during Wednesday’s testimony.

The first video is Davis in an interview speaking about his book, Compton Street Legend. Is asked a question and then told he doesn’t want to talk about that.
The interviewer reads an excerpt from the book.
A second clip is played where he speaks on his cancer.
A third clip is played where he talks about Tupac being in the wrong when jumped on his nephew Orlando Anderson. Said he was a kid and his nephew never jumped on him.
Prosecutors then play a clip from a previous day in court when Reggie Wright Jr. takes the stand.
Several different clips of calls are then played of Davis speaking while in jail. In one clip, he states, “I have blood on my money.”
Stoehr says he has listen to the calls multiple times while editing.
1:26 p.m.
Cross examination begins. Sanft and jurors have no questions.
Stoehr exits the stand.
Prosecutors state they are resting their case.
The defense states they will begin to call up their witnesses on Thursday and are looking to close on Monday. Four witnesses are expected to take the stand for the defense.
Davis is told that he has the right to testify and has to make his decision overnight.
