PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is seriously hurt after being stabbed in Phoenix Tuesday evening, police said.

Officers were called out to a home near 16th Street on Montebello Avenue, south of Bethany Home Road, just before 5:30 p.m. and found the victim, who had been stabbed. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, officials said.
The victim and the suspect know each other but the suspect left the scene before officers arrived, officials said.
