TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – An uptick in afternoon showers and storms returns to Southeast Arizona this afternoon and evening with the strongest storms capable of producing isolated strong to severe wind gusts, blowing dust, and heavy rainfall.

Blowing Dust Advisory is in effect until 10 pm.
Blowing dust could impact travel along and near Interstate 10 and Interstate 19. Moderate to majorHeatRisk continues with forecast high temperatures 5 to 7 degrees above normal.
First Alert Forecast:
Wednesday – A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Sunny and hot, with a high near 104. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Patchy blowing dust before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 80. North northeast wind 11 to 16 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
Thursday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 104. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
Thursday Night – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 78.
