TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a fatal shooting in Tucson two years ago.

On Monday, July 27, Martin Cruz Garcia was sentenced to natural life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Garcia was found guilty on one count of first-degree murder on May 28, 2026, and natural life was the only sentenced available.
The TPD said Garcia shot and killed Damian Bryan Quinones following an argument at a gas station near Prudence and 22nd on July 17, 2024.

Garcia left the scene but was taken into custody a short time later at a nearby home, according to the TPD.
