CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG/Gray News) – A 33-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting and impregnating a 15-year-old girl.

Jeremy Johnson faces two charges of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
The girl reported the assault to an Iowa Child Protection Center in July.
The girl told investigators that in April, Johnson gave her a marijuana gummy when she was already intoxicated. She woke up the next morning not wearing shorts, according to the criminal complaint.
The girl told investigators that Johnson was the only person who could have gotten her pregnant, authorities said.

Investigators searched text messages that confirmed Johnson sexually assaulted her.
Johnson was booked into the Linn County Jail on Monday. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
