ST. LOUIS (Gray News) — Lionel Richie is home from the hospital after spending a few days in the ICU, according to reports.

People confirmed Richie was released Wednesday. The 77-year-old is back at his home in Los Angeles and “doing great,” the report said.
TMZ was the first to report the news about Richie’s hospitalization.
The singer checked himself into a hospital in St. Louis after performing in the city Saturday night.
TMZ reported that Richie was treated in the ICU and underwent testing for cardiac-related issues. TMZ also said Richie had been expected to be discharged Wednesday.

Fans at the concert at The Muny in St. Louis said Richie appeared to be struggling toward the end of his set as he asked his team to bring him a chair so he could perform his final song, “All Night Long,” while sitting down.
Richie was previously rushed to a hospital in June after feeling sick on stage during a concert in Minnesota, Rolling Stone reported. He told the crowd he felt “dizzy” and “strange” before cutting his set short.
