PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Inexpensive Easter headbands are being recalled in several states, including Arizona, because of how small the batteries are and how easy children can get to them.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, OKK Trading is pulling 25,000 of the $1 to $2 LED headbands because of their three coin batteries. Investigators said children can easily swallow them, which can cause serious injuries and death.
The recall was issued Thursday and affects three models:
Model 46310 in white, light pink, dark pink, turquoise, purple and red and features felt multicolor polka dots on the ears.
Model 46309 is in white, light pink, turquoise and purple and features fluffy ears and light fur along the band.
Model 44694 is available in white with dark pink, light blue, red or light pink satin ear lining with a fluffy white backing and band.

Each headband is packaged in a clear plastic bag that has the model number and “OKK Trading, Inc.” on it. They were sold in stores mostly in California, Arizona and Texas between November 2024 and April.
Those who bought the headbands should stop using them immediately and message OKK Trading for a refund. Consumers are also being asked to email [email protected] a photograph showing the headband being thrown away in the trash.
