TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Isolated showers and storms this evening with most of the activity north and east of Tucson. While isolated flood concerns are around tonight, the focus is more so on Monday. A Flood Watch has been issued for Monday making it a First Alert Weather Day. The watch is from 11am to 11pm on Monday for much of Southeast Arizona. It includes all of Santa Cruz and Cochise, most of Graham and Greenlee, and the eastern halves of Pima and Pinal. Scattered to numerous storms will be around, and the stronger storms have potential to drop 1-2+ inches of rain as moisture is abundant in the atmosphere.

If Monday is as active as projected, I expect a slight downturn in storms Tuesday. However, Wednesday has the chance to ramp up again. A wind shift from the west late week will bring a drop in storm chances. Highs continue to be near or slightly below normal.
