TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – We still have the FAWD tomorrow for extreme heat. However, a recent big jump in rain and storm potential is now present in the forecast for tomorrow. We have a marginal risk for severe weather (mostly severe winds) and a marginal and slight risk for excessive rainfall. As a result, NWS has put us in a Flood Watch from 2pm to 10pm tomorrow. That is for all of Santa Cruz County, Western Cochise County, and Central & Eastern Pima County…including the Tucson Metro Area. Plus, a Blowing Dust Advisory from 4pm to 10pm tomorrow for nearly all of Southeast Arizona including the Tucson Metro Area. A more active rain/storm pattern is ahead throughout the 7-day forecast.
