TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A driver is in critical condition after a serious crash in Sierra Vista this morning, July 28.

The Sierra Vista Police Department says the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 92 and Buffalo Soldier Trail.
The SVPD says it appears the driver of a white Chevrolet pickup truck was turning left from northbound Highway 92 onto Buffalo Soldier Trail, ran a red light and collided with a tow truck.

The pickup truck driver was airlifted to a Tucson hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The tow truck driver was evaluated at the scene.
Police say the investigation is remains active and no citations have been issued at this time.
