TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Good Samaritans helped rescue a family of cyclists from a flooded bridge at Sabino Canyon early Thursday, Aug. 13.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed it, and the Rural Metro Fire District responded to a water rescue there.
A 13 News viewer shared video of the effort, which you can watch in the player above.
The PCSD said the situation started when a family of three tried to cross a flooded bridge on bicycles.
Family members and Good Samaritans jumped in to help when a 20-year-old woman fell from her bicycle and became trapped underwater.

The woman was trapped for several minutes before being pulled from the water.
CPR was started until she regained consciousness, according to the PCSD.
Rural Metro transported two people to a local hospital, and both were in stable condition.
