Stratton Fire burning on Mount Lemmon contained

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Crews battled a small wildfire on Mount Lemmon on Monday, May 25.

The Coronado National Forest said the Stratton Fire was reported Sunday night.

The fire, which was less than an acre, was fully contained as of 9 p.m. Monday, according to WildCAD.

It is the second wildfire on Mount Lemmon this weekend.

On Friday, the Molino Fire was reported. By Saturday morning, it was 100% contained at only four acres.

There was also a wildfire in Cochise County on Monday. The Rucker Fire, burning south of the Chiricahua National Monument, was 40 acres as of 4 p.m.
