The reward for information leading to an arrest for Walker’s death is now $50,000, after a “significant” donation from the Walker family and additional funds from Buckeye police, the department said in a press release Tuesday.
Walker was first reported missing in Mesa and listed as a runaway in December 2019. A few months later, on May, 22, 2020, her body was discovered on the I-10 median west of Watson Road in Buckeye.
Investigators believed that she was hit by a car, and they found car parts at the scene that matched a 2016-2018 Honda Civic LX or LE in a “midnight burgundy pearl” color.
