TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Marana mystery six years in the making has been at least partially solved.

In February 2020, Robert Drabeck was reported missing after officers found evidence of a violent crime inside a motor home near Ina and Thornydale.
The case went cold for years, until authorities received a tip in February 2026.
That tip led investigators to a home in the 2700 block of North Dodge Boulevard, which is in the city of Tucson.
While nothing was found during that search, things changed quickly last month.
The Marana Police Department said detectives served another search warrant at the home, which is near Glenn and Dodge, on Aug. 4.

Drabeck’s remains were found buried in the backyard, and investigators said it appears he had been shot.
13 News has requested the autopsy reports for Drabeck and will update this story when it is released.

As of Sept. 24, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
