TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department announced the arrest of five teens after locating a stolen vehicle near 29th and Craycroft.

The TPD says the Air Support Unit monitored the vehicle as it drove into a park where three of the five occupants ran from the vehicle into a neighborhood.
Police say the five individuals were teenagers between 14 to 16 years old. Two of the arrestees were on intensive probation, had cut off their ankle monitors, and have a combined 43 arrests with many of those for serious offenses.

A realistic looking replica handgun was also recovered.
New charges for all suspects include auto theft, unlawful flight from law enforcement, burglary, runaway juvenile, and active warrants for their arrest.
