TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A woman has died a little more than a month after she was hit by a vehicle near Grant and Alvernon in Tucson.

The Tucson Police Department said 46-year-old Jennifer Shalyn Zunda died from her injuries on Monday, May 18.
Zunda was struck while crossing Alvernon on April 11. The TPD said she was not in a crosswalk, and the driver who hit her did not stay at the scene
The suspect’s vehicle is a 2001-2007 metallic blue Toyota Tundra or Toyota Sequoia. It should have damage to the front passenger-side headlight area, and may be missing the front passenger-side fog light.
