PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was found dead early Sunday, hours after a reported armed robbery in the same south Phoenix neighborhood overnight.

Officers were called just before 10 p.m. Saturday to a reported robbery at gunpoint near 19th Street and Broadway Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Witnesses told officers multiple shots were fired and a man ran from the scene on foot. Two women at the scene were unable to identify a suspect.
Police returned to the area around 2 a.m. and found a man’s body in a nearby yard. It’s unclear if the death is connected to the earlier robbery report.
