TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A 30-year-old man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash in rural Cochise County early Thursday, Sept. 10.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office said a Jeep crashed on Montezuma Canyon Road near Quiriva Trail around 4:30 a.m.
The CCSO said the driver was not wearing his seatbelt, was partially ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene. A passenger in the Jeep was wearing their seatbelt and was not injured.
The roadway was wet and muddy from previous rains, and that may have contributed to the crash.

The CCSO said the Jeep was traveling with another group on their way to a worksite in the area.
