TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – An investigation is ongoing after Sahuaro High was vandalized.

The Tucson Unified School District confirmed the school’s new turf football field and scoreboard were hit.
The TUSD said it has no reason to think the vandals were from a rival school.
“These facilities represent a significant investment in our students and community, and we will not let this act diminish the pride we have in what we have built together,” the district said in a release.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call TUSD School Safety at 520-584-7676, the Tucson Police Department at 520-791-4444, or school administration at 520-731-7103.
“We encourage anyone with information to come forward and help us protect these facilities and the opportunities they provide for our students and community,” the district said.

The news comes a little more than a week after the football field at Bisbee High was vandalized
