The Arizona Wallet app allows users to view documents like vehicle registration and titles directly from their phone, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division.

It also has options to send reminder alerts to drivers before their registration expires and easy access to get it renewed. It also notifies them about upcoming driver’s license expiration dates.

In a written statement, ADOT MVD Director Michael Cryderman said the app allows drivers to stay out of the line at their local MVD and do it all remotely.

“Arizona Wallet is another example of ADOT MVD being a leader in offering additional convenient functionality through smartphones and securely conducting business in this digital age,” Cryderman said.

ADOT said Arizona residents should still keep their physical registration and insurance documents in their vehicle for other situations, including interactions with law enforcement.

Drivers can download the Arizona Wallet app on the App Store and Google Play.
