TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Highs peaked today before they start to cool tomorrow and into next week. Plenty of 90s in the coming workweek which will give us some nice relief from the triple-digits. However, low triple-digits reenter Tucson’s forecast by Friday or Saturday.

Outside of the cool down, rain and storm potential lingers. Rain chances have lowered for tonight. Expect pretty scattered rain showers and storms with focus in Santa Cruz, Pima, and Pinal rather than Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee. Tucson still only sits at 10% chance tonight while slightly better chances are more south like in Sells and Nogales. Some strong winds with blowing dust are a concern tonight. Low concern for flooding.
We have two days to watch in the coming forecast, Monday and Wednesday. Both have potential to be First Alert Weather Days due to heightened storm potential in the Tucson area. If data holds tomorrow, expect issuance of First Alert Weather Days.
