TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Marana man is facing several child sex crime charges.

Thomas Francis Baker, 61, was arrested on charges of child molestation, sexual abuse, sexual conduct with a minor under 15 years old, and sexual assault.
Baker made his first court appearance late Thursday, Aug. 6, and the judge set his bond at $50,000. A preliminary hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 17.
During the hearing, the defense said Baker has no felony criminal convictions and could stay at his brother’s home, where there are no children living.
According to the interim complaint, the Marana Police Department’s investigation began when it received a tip about a child molestation case on Aug. 2.

The victim said she was sexually abused by Baker several times when she was around 8 to 10 years old. The victim said Baker also showed he porn featuring “girls that were naked, boys that were naked, and having sex.”
The victim claimed the abuse suddenly stopped, and she was not sure why.
Baker declined to talk to investigators when he was arrested.
