TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson man faced sentencing yesterday, Aug. 5, for child sex abuse.

31-year-old Eric Garcia, an enrolled member of the Tohono O’odham Nation, pleaded guilty to one count of abusive sexual contact with a child.
The United States Attorney’s Office said between Nov. 11, 2014 and Nov. 11, 2016, Garcia had sexual contact with a child under the age of 12 on the Tohono O’odham Nation near Hickiwan, Arizona.
Garcia was sentenced to 19 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release.
