TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Sunny start and hot today. Another Extreme Heat Warning. However, daytime heating will spark off a round of thundershowers. A Flood Watch has been issued for Tucson metro, eastern Pima, western Cochise and all off Santa Cruz county, 2 to 8 PM today. Also a blowing dust for almost all of Southeastern Arizona 4-10 PM. Highs are expected to reach 106. A First Alert Weather Day has been issued for today.

This week, afternoon and evening thundershowers will fire up. Conditions will have to be watched each day to see what the threat is, However for Tucson, it appears more nocturnal than during most of the daylight hours. Highs will remain in the lower 100’s through the drill.
