Jaheime Brown, 21, is charged with killing Julio Osife Diaz on July 18 at an ARCO gas station at 16th Street and Thomas Road.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Thursday that a grand jury indicted Brown on one count of second-degree murder, a class one felony.

Mitchell said Diaz went to get gas at the gas station, where Brown then got into a confrontation with him and other people in the car. When the fight got physical, Brown shot Diaz, and he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
