SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — A deadly crash has closed a major road through Pinal County Friday night.

The crash was reported on Hunt Highway near Magma Road in San Tan Valley around 4:20 p.m.
According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, a suspect vehicle that left the scene is a black Ford F-250 or F-350 with front-end damage, possibly platinum edition. They also believe the driver is male.
The sheriff’s office confirmed one person has died, and three others were hospitalized for treatment. The person who was killed has not been publicly identified.
“We are asking the public’s help in locating the suspected vehicle. No tip is too small,” said Pinal County Sheriff Ross Teeple. “If you have any information, please contact the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office immediately.”

Footage from Arizona’s Family news chopper showed two vehicles with extensive damage at the scene.
Hunt Highway is closed from Magma Road past Arizona Farms Road. Drivers should avoid the area.
