The incidents were reported to police last year by two women who visited Dr. Hassan Khan at American Medical Associates at Chandler Boulevard and Cooper Road.
One woman said that on Feb. 6, 2025, she visited Dr. Khan for back pain. During that exam, Khan reportedly performed physical contact that the woman thought was part of the normal process, but that contact escalated to being inappropriate and sexual in nature.
Khan is accused of contacting the woman from a personal phone number to offer a stronger prescription, then contacting her from another number on a second occasion to apologize for the interaction at the clinic.
Another woman told police she visited Khan on Jan. 20, 2025, then suffered serious medical consequences as a result of Khan’s sexual abuse during the visit.

Records say Khan also contacted that victim from a personal phone number after the incident at the clinic.
Chandler Police contacted Khan on Wednesday at his home, where he confirmed his phone number but did not answer any other questions. He was arrested on two felony counts of sexual abuse.
