PARKER, AZ (AZFamily) — A man has been sentenced for the murder of a woman who was shot in front of her children in western Arizona.

Andre Anthony Miller, 33, will serve 28 years in prison for second-degree murder and will be on probation for five years after his sentence, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona.
Miller shot the victim on Feb. 18, 2024, on the Colorado River Indian Tribe Reservation.
Officials said the woman was a former intimate partner. Both were members of the tribe.

The woman suffered quadriplegia and died 11 months later, officials said.
The FBI and the Colorado River Indian Tribe Police Department conducted the investigation.
